Serum Pools and Serum Samples
Human serum pools and or individual samples for normal patients or a number of disease states are available. Pools will vary in size and availability and may be held for clients under certain conditions.
Samples will be provided with documentation however all biological material should be treated as if capable of transmitting disease and should be dispensed in the appropriate manner.
Urine Pools
Urine pools in large and small lots are available and under certain circumstances can be held on reserve. Urine pools can be used for a number of products and are certified to come from healthy drug free donors. Urine pools are filtered to 0.2 microns and can come with a number of different preservatives as well as preservative free.
Cotinine Controls
Positive and negative urine controls in 10 ml volumes are available in sets or individually.
Drug of Abuse Controls
Positive and negative urine controls in 10 ml volumes are available in a positive and negative set or individually.

D-Piece
A one-way valve connected to the piCO+™ via a unique breath sampling prevents air being drawn back form the monitor. The breath then passes through an infection control filter, proven to remove and trap >99.9% of airborne bacteria1. This system further reduces the risks of cross infection and protects the instrument from contamination.
Instrument Cleansing Wipes
Instrument cleansing wipes specifically developed for cleaning the surface of the monitors. Each wipe contains 1% Cetrimide, a powerful antimicrobial detergent. The wipes can also be used by patients to clean their hands before handling the instruments in areas without hand washing facilities, or where infection control may be a particular concern. Alcohol, or cleaning agents containing alcohol, should never be used as they may adversely affect the sensor within the instrument.
